• Mode of Entry: Contact
• Mode of Action: The fungicide Master is recognized for its multisite action as a respiratory inhibitor. It targets multiple pathways in the fungal cells, preventing them from respiring properly. As a result, the fungal cells are unable to produce energy, leading to their death. The term “contact activity” indicates that Master must come into direct contact with the fungal pathogen to be effective. This mode of action is beneficial because it makes it difficult for the fungus to develop resistance to the fungicide.
