Glyphosate 41% SL uses are primarily for non-selective weed control in various agriculture and non-agriculture settings, eliminating a broad spectrum of annual and perennial weeds through a systemic foliar spray that kills them from the root. It works effectively on both broadleaf and grassy weeds and is used to save labor by reducing manual weeding. The soluble liquid (SL) formulation is easy to apply as a post-emergent treatment, controlling weeds after they have emerged and ensuring crops receive more soil nutrients.  

How it works:
  • Non-selective: 
    It kills all types of vegetation it comes into contact with. 

  • Systemic action: 
    The herbicide is absorbed through the leaves and travels down to the root system, ensuring complete eradication of the entire plant. 

  • Post-emergent: 
    It is applied to actively growing weeds after they have emerged from the soil. 

  • Nutrient availability: 
    By removing weeds, crops can get the proper amount of nutrients from the soil, leading to healthier harvests. 

Common uses:
  • Agriculture: 
    Controlling weeds in various crops by preventing them from competing for nutrients. 

  • Non-crop areas: 
    Eliminating unwanted vegetation in areas like fence lines, driveways, and parking lots. 

  • Weed management: 
    Effectively managing tough annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds. 

Application:
  • Foliar spray: 
    The product is mixed with water and sprayed directly onto the leaves of the targeted weeds. 

  • Timing: 
    It is best to spray when weeds have at least 4-8 leaves and the area has sufficient soil moisture. 

  • Drift control: 
    Use a hood or keep the nozzle low to the ground to prevent the spray from drifting onto desirable plants.
