Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL is a non-selective contact herbicide used to control weeds and grasses,such as broadleaf weeds and grasses. It is also used as a pre-harvest desiccantin crops . It works by disrupting the process of photosynthesis, thereby damaging the green parts of plants. This product should only be used by certified applicators as it is highly toxic to humans and wildlife. 

Use
  • weed control: 
    It is a broad-spectrum, non-selective herbicide for controlling broadleaf weeds and grasses. 

  • In non-crop areas: 
    It is also used in areas where weed control is necessary and no crops are grown. 

modus operandi
  • This herbicide disrupts the process of photosynthesis. 
  • During photosynthesis, it produces superoxide. 
  • Superoxide damages cell membranes and cytoplasm, causing immediate damage to the green parts of the plant.
