Paranex Herbicide Technical Details

• Technical Name: Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL
• Mode of Entry: Contact
• Mode of Action: It works by being absorbed through plant foliage and, when exposed to light, disrupts photosynthesis. This generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) that damage plant cells, leading to rapid desiccation of the green parts within 48 hours. It’s effective against a wide range of weeds but doesn’t affect mature brown stems and bark.
