2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL is a selective, post-emergence systemic herbicide used to control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in various crops like cereals, maize and sugarcane, as well as in non-crops areas. It functions by mimicking plant growth hormones (auxins), causing uncontrolled growth and death of the weeds. The herbicide is applied as a foliar spray to actively growing weeds for maximum effectiveness. 

How it Works
    • Selective Action: 
      The herbicide targets broadleaf weeds without causing significant harm to the main crop. 

  • Systemic Control: 
    It is absorbed by the leaves and roots of weeds and then translocated throughout the plant. 

  • Growth Disruption: 
    2,4-D mimics the natural plant hormone auxin, leading to abnormal growth and eventual death of the weed. 

Uses & Application
  • Crops: 
    Effective in crops such as cereals, grasses, cotton, corn, rice, sorghum, sugarcane, and wheat.
